Captain Christian Atal was born in
Santiago, Chile. He has dedicated his life to the sea.
He became the Captain and owner of Murielle at Puerto Montt,
a port located south of the Chilean coast. Before setting
sails to the Caribbean and the world, he experienced rough
sailing in the cold Chilean waters, exploring the most
spectacular fiords and glaciers through the South Pacific.
For years he organized diving expeditions, and now he is
fully attending his chartering activity at Murielle’s
live aboard. Captain Atal is also a professional underwater
cameraman and he has captured impressive and unique images
of under water life at the most remote places throughout
the world. Your sailing week can be also captured in a

Macarena Benitez began her life in Mexico 7 years ago when she went to study La Paz, Baja California Sur. She is now a Marine Biologist who specializes in the Protection and Conservation of Sea Turtles. She also found her passion for freediving when she began training in La Baja four years ago. Since then she has competed twice in Mexico. In her last competition in June 2008 she set the First National Female Record for Chile. She achived a - 40 meters in constant weight with monofin, in a 1 minute 50 seconds dive.
She also is a professional underwater photographer and advanced scuba diver who can take photos and video so that you can have remember and share your diving and sailing experience with family and friends.
She also study to become Murielle's Chef, preparing delicius meals onboard and specializes in using organic and healthy natural products
